grow it did. It had many flowers
It was like it was waiting for a spring shower
Though it was big it was also small
The leftover shovel was waiting there
No one went but everyone came
Sometimes silly stuff will shame the garden
The garden with its happy feelings and mad songs
likes many things. Most of all, it enjoys the sun
The sun is its mother and also its friend
The garden wishes that it could communicate
With the garden it was always the same
No talking and only growing
Sometimes it took more than the water and seeds
Most of the time it took the sun

This is a really interesting poem, Deven. All the contradictory statements really add to the effect. The only thing is punctuation. There's a lack of punctuation and it's kind of confusing when you read, but other than that, it's a kind of mysterious and interesting poem!
ReplyDeleteHi Deven. I like the idea of the garden growing silently. I know that this must have some greater metaphorical reason, but I can't figure it out. Who or what does the garden represent?
